1. All dogs will be shown by me personally unless due to scheduling conflicts beyond my control. In these cases, another experienced person, will replace myself at no additional cost. Conflicts will be minimized to the best of my ability.

2. All dogs will receive equal treatment to the best of my ability. In the instances of scheduling conflicts, priority generally will be assigned on the basis of length of contract and the goals of each dog being handled. In all instances the handler's judgement and decision regarding which dogs take priority is final. Specials always take priority over class dogs.

3. All handling fees and expenses are due on an agreed upon schedule. This generally will be at the end of each show weekend. After 15 days any unpaid balance will be billed an additional 10%. In the cases of show circuits, clients are required to pay handling fees in advance prior to leaving for the shows. It is understood that in an event only one dog is shown at a particular show, that client is responsible for all expenses incurred by the handler regardless of who transports the dog. It is also understood that the client is responsible for expenses incurred by the handler for their dog on a per show basis. No dogs will be released to the owner until the bill is paid in full. Expenses are divided among client dogs that are being shown.

4. All handling fees and expenses are to be paid in the currency that is appropriate for the Country I am showing in. Canadian shows will be paid for with Canadian currency and American Shows will be paid for with American currency, etc., unless other arrangements have been made prior to the shows.

5. Entries will be made by the owner except in such cases as the owner has an account with an entry service that is charged to the owner's personal credit card.

6. Cancellations by the client must be made prior to the closing of entries. Any cancellation or withdrawal of the dog by the owner made after the entries are closed will be subject to full payment of the handling fees. Extreme circumstances will be considered, but is at the discretion of the handler.

7. All dogs will provide a current health certificate, including vaccination records for Rabies, ParvoVirus, DHLP, Bordatella, and Corona. Also please make sure that your dog is free of worms and fleas.

8. I reserve the right to determine if the services of a veterinarian are required. All vet fees will be the responsibility of the owner.

9. The Handler agrees to exercise all due and responsible care and precautions to prevent any injury, illness, or loss of a client's dog while traveling, at the Kennel and at the show site.

10. The owner agrees the handler and his employees will not be held personally liable for any accidental injury, illness, or loss of the dog incurred during the normal function of traveling, boarding and handling.

11. At the time of contract signing, the owner and handler will agree upon and set goals for the dog's show career. These goals can be anything from achieving a Championship, to National or International ranking. This will insure that both the owner and the handler are working toward the same goals, and will alleviate any misunderstandings. These goals may and can be revised during the course of the contract, but only with the agreement of both parties.

*After reading this agreement, please sign and date one copy and return to the handler.

I have read and understand the contents of this Handler-Client agreement and fully agree to the terms and conditions within.
