The consideration for this sale is the payment of the sum of $ __________________ (American Dollars) for a
High Stakes Great Dane puppy. The balance for the puppy is due in pre-determined payments before delivery and possession by the Buyer.

  1. This Great Dane puppy is guaranteed to be healthy and free of communicable disease. The puppy was born and raised in my home (not in a kennel). It is recommended that the buyer have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within the first week of taking the puppy home with you. If the vet finds the puppy to be in ill health, then the buyer can return the pup for a full refund.
  2. I stand behind the Temperament and Health of each puppy at the time that you purchase the puppy from me. Our pups are well socialized, handled and loved between birth to the time they go into their new home. The seller can not guarantee the pup's temperament and disposition after it leaves our home.
  3. The Seller does not guarantee against skin problems such as acne, demodectic mange, etc.
  4. If the puppy is cropped before going to its new home, the Seller does not guarantee the ears to stand, as it is the responsibility of the new owner to properly tape the ears and train them to stand.
  5. Reasonable precautions have been taken to prevent hereditary diseases such as bilateral hip dysplasia, and other inheritable defects. If such a problem is found to exist in this dog by two years of age, it must be verified by a second opinion of a veterinarian of the Seller’s choice, and any appropriate action will be decided upon depending on the dog’s ability to continue to function as a normal healthy pet. Hip must be scored as Moderate to Severe with OAF. A written veterinary statement, x-rays and OAF results must be submitted to High Stakes Farm as proof of said defect, and must be reviewed by High Stakes Farms veterinarian. This guarantee entitles buyer to a replacement puppy of equal dollar value from a future litter. No cash refunds will be given.
  6. Show pups: Show pups are closely evaluated and sold as show marked/show potential pups, only. Breeder agrees to give advice on training and showing of the pup, but cannot guarantee that the pup will become AKC pointed or an AKC Champion. Breeder/seller cannot guarantee conformation of the pup, as it matures into adulthood, therefore, no refunds or replacement pups will be given on show pups, except as stated in condition #1 & #5. Pups cannot be resold under any circumstances, and must be returned to the seller, if the buyer cannot keep the pup. Co-ownership’s will exist for the life of the dog/bitch.
  7. Pet Pups: Pet pups – including Merles, Piebald and Harl heads, non show marked Mantles will be sold on a limited registration, with a spay/neuter agreement. If for any reason you are unable to keep this puppy/adult dog I would like first right to either take the puppy/adult back or be informed of its new home.
  8. Seller agrees to give the buyer life time advice on the raising , and training of this pup.

Companion pups – including Merles, Piebald and Harl heads, and non-show marked Mantles start at $1,500.00
Lightly Marked Harls & Merlequins start at $2,000.00

Show Marked Harlequin & Mantle Puppies are available to non show homes, as companions – Start at $3,000.00
Blacks start at $2,000.00

This does not include the cost of ear cropping. Ear crops are additional and optional.

Dew Claw Removal, first set of shots and worming is included in the purchase price.

A deposit is required is hold any puppy. $500.00 for pet puppies and $800.00 for show puppies. No refunds are given except as stated in #1 & #5.
